Hi and welcome to Priory Fields School, it is fun and great place to learn lots of different things and make new friends. We are a friendly school and proud to be part of the local community.
At Priory Fields we have lots of fun weeks like culture week, money week, Dover week. Also, Year 6 go on a residential to the Bowles outdoor activity centre. At Bowles you do lots fun things like rock climbing skiing and it’s something to look forward to all year! Year 6 also do big production at the end of the year, which is also great fun!

Our School Council helps to make Priory Fields a better place. We hold an election at the beginning of the school year and the School Council arrange charity fundraisers, community events and help with our twinned school in Gambia.

Children in Year 6 have the opportunity to apply to become advocates. In this role they help in a number of areas around the school, including the Office, library, ICT, Early Years and Homework Club.
Meet this Year’s Advocates!
Our teachers teach us the most exciting topics, for example, mountains, electricity, the human heart and lots more. We also have two TAs in each class to help us! We have Numicon to help us with our learning in maths and lots of lovely books to help us with our English.
For PE we are lucky to have our sports coaches, Mrs Parnell and Mr Biggs. Mrs Parnell teaches us gymnastics, trampolining, dance and athletics and Mr Biggs teaches us football, basketball, tag rugby and lots of others. We have a big school hall for indoor sports and the playground and field to use in the summer!
To help us with music we have Mr Cook, who comes in to help with the school choir and teaches clarinets, ukulele and other instruments.

Children spending their hard earned credits at the credit shop.
Key stage 1 Children have golden time as a weekly reward for good behaviour. Children in Key Stage 2 collect credits, which they can save up and exchange for prizes.
All children from Early Years to Year 6 collect stamps throughout the year for excellent behaviour. They work towards filling a Bronze, Silver and Gold chart and get to go on fabulous trips at the end of the summer term.
We also have a termly attendance challenge with the winning class being allowed to choose a fun activity. Children with 100% attendance are also put into a prize draw each term with the chance of winning a fantastic bike with safety accessories!
At the end of each term we hold a Golden Assembly for the presentation of achievement cups, sports awards and certificates.
