Well done to our year 1/2 footballers who travelled to Sandwich to take part in a football competition. The team played 5 group games, winning 3 and losing 2 and finished the group in 2nd place meaning they made it through to the 3rd/4th place play off. They played really well but lost this game finishing the competition in 4th place out of 12 schools.
Well done to our year 6 netball team who took part in a netball competition at Duke of York's Military School. The team had never played in a netball match before and had only had a few weeks of practice. The team worked very well together, and were successful in their efforts winning 6 out of 6 of the group games. This meant they progressed to the semi finals where they won 1-
Well done to our year 5/6 hockey team who took part in the Dover school games hockey competition at Goodwin Academy on Tuesday. The school entered two teams and were put into separate groups on the day. The A team won 4 games and drew 1 meaning they won the group and the B team won 4 and lost 1 meaning they came second in their group. This meant that they met in the semi finals. Congratulations to our 10 year 5 & 6 girls who took part in the Dover and Deal District Schools all girl cricket tournament this week at Walmer Cricket Club. Unfortunately our PFS girls didn't make the final on this occasion but they all demonstrated excellent teamwork and some great cricket skills! Well done.

All 4 Teams qualified to compete in the Kent Schools Gymnastics Finals in Maidstone in June which is a fantastic achievement.

On Tuesday, the year 5 and 6 boys football team travelled to Deal to take part in the Dover School Games Football competition. They played four group games, winning three and losing one which saw them progress to the finals. In the final match they drew 0-
On Wednesday, the year 3 and 4 football team travelled to Deal to take part in the Dover School Games football competition. The team played 3 group games, drawing two and losing one narrowly missing out on the quarter finals. The team played well together and showed great teamwork finishing 3rd in the group. Well done!
Congratulations to our fantastic year 6 Trampoline Team who competed in the Kent Schools Finals in Gillingham.
Our Novice team performed 2 fantastic routines each and won the Bronze medal for the Novice Year 6 Girls Team Competition.
Sadie competed in the Intermediate Year 6 Girls’ Competition as an individual and completed 2 first class routines which saw her become the Kent School’s Champion.

Congratulations to our Tag Rugby Team who took part in the Dover & Deal District Schools Tag Rugby Tournament at Dover Rugby Club on Tuesday 21st March 2017. There were 25 teams taking part altogether and our team played 5 tough games. They won 1, drew 2 and lost 2 games but stayed positive and focused throughout the tournament, demonstrating some great skills and fantastic teamwork.
Well done to the Year 5/6 Athletics Team who took part in the Dover School Games Sports Hall Athletics Competition at Dover Leisure Centre. The team made up of 18 children competed against 8 other schools in events such as relay races, long jump, javelin and many more. The team managed to finish in 5th place and had lots of fun on the day.

Tuesday 20th June 2017. Congratulations to all 4 of our Gymnastics Teams who represented not only Priory Fields but the whole of the Dover District in the Kent School Games Gymnastics finals in Maidstone recently. There were over 300 children competing throughout the day from schools across Kent on one of the hottest days of the year. All of our teams have been working very hard for the finals and they all performed a floor routine, a body management routine and a vault flawlessly and were a credit to PFS throughout the day. They all enjoyed the experience of competing in a top class facility with children from schools all over Kent. The final results were as follows:
Year 2 Team finished in 12th Place out of 21 schools
Year 3/4 Team finished in 5th Place out of 23 schools
Year 6 Team finished in Joint 5th Place out of 23 schools
Year 5 Team finished in 6th Place out of 23 schools
