- Speed Stacking -

Well done to our speed stacking champions, who took part in a tournament at St Martin’s School on 2nd February!





- Trampoline - 18th March-

Our year 5/6 team recently competed in the Kent schools Trampoline finals at Jumpers Rebound Centre in Gillingham.  They finished in 3rd place overall, which is a fantasic achievement.  Well done PFS!

- Football -

Congratulations to our Year 5/6 football team for taking part in the Premier League Primary Stars Football Competition on 13th March at University of Kent.  They competed against teams from schools all over Kent and  wore their new kit for the first time, which has been sponsored by Portakabin.  They were also lucky enough to have their photograph taken with the Premier League trophy!

  - Year 1/2 Infant Agility -

 Friday 16th March saw our team of year 1/2 girls and boys heading to Dover Leisure Centre to compete amongst 12 schools. A whole range of events were included, from relays to foam javelin launcher. Priory Fields finished 6th place and really enjoyed the event, whilst behaving extremely well throughout the whole day. Well done to all of you that took part.

- Key Steps Gymnastics County Qualifying Competition -

- 26th March -

Congratulations to our gymnastics teams from Years 2, 3&4 and 5 who have been working very hard towards their gymnastics competition, which took place at at Dover Gymnastics Club.  All three teams performed brilliantly and showed fantastic teamwork throughout the competition.  We are proud to say that all three teams qualified to compete in the Kent Schools' Finals in June! Well Done!

- Year 1/2 Tournament -

- 3rd May -

Congratulations to our Year 2 football team who all played to a fantastic standard in this event at Sandwich Technology School, finishing in third place out of 14 schools!  Well done PFS!

- Swimming Gala - Year 5/6 -

- 9th March -

 Well done to our year 5/6 swimmers that attended this year's swimming gala held at Dover Leisure Centre, 9th March. One of our swimmers made it into the finals of the backstroke heat, which was an excellent achievement in a very strong field. The competition included over 12 schools and was an excellent experience in front of a supportive crowd.


- Year 5/6 Dover District Schools' Games Hockey Competition -

- 8th May -

Congratulations to our Year 5/6 Hockey Team who competed at Goodwin Academy in Deal recently.  They held their own against some tough competition, finishing 2nd in their group and progressing to the quarter finals.  Unfortunately, we were beaten in the quarter finals 1-0 by a strong Temple Ewell team but our team should be proud of the fantastic teamwork and determination they showed in every game, well done PFS!  Results: PFS 1 V St Margaret's 1, PFS 0 V Charlton 1, PFS 4 V Lydden 0, PFS 0 Temple Ewell 1.

- Year 3/4 Dover District Tournament -

- 1st May -

Well done to our Year 3/4 hockey team who represented PFS in the Dover District Schools' Hockey Competition. This was their first ever competition and they showed great determination and team work!

- Netball -





- District Schools' Netball Tournament -

- Tuesday 15th May -

Congratulations to our year 5/6 netball team who played their first tournament at the Duke of York's Military School.  They demonstrated fabulous teamwork, accurate passing skills and fantastic shooting and they have only been practising for 4 weeks!


Results: PFS 7 V Whitfield 0, PFS 3 V River B 0, PFS 1 V Temple Ewell 3, PFS 0 V Cartwright & Kelsey 1.  Fantastic results, well done PFS!

- Cricket -

 - Year 1/2 Rapid Fire Cricket Tournament

Tuesday 5th June 2018 at St Margaret's Cricket Club -

Very well done to our team who took part in this event.  They played 10 games and won 6, lost 3 and drew 1 - finishing 5th place overall out of 11 schools! Great work PFS!

 - Kent Schools’ Gymnastics Finals – Tuesday 19th June 2018 -


Pegasus Gymnastics Centre, Maidstone


Huge Congratulations to our 3 Gymnastics Teams that represented the Dover District and Priory Fields School at the above event last week. The results are in and they have done us and themselves proud!

A total of 371 children competed over the course of the day, representing 14 School Sport Partnerships.


The Year 2 Team finished in 7th Place out of 25 Teams in Kent

The year 3/4 Team finished in 8th place out of 24 Teams in Kent

The Year 5 Team finished in 6th Place out of 22 Teams in Kent


These are amazing results and proves what our children at PFS can achieve with lots of practise, hard work and dedication.
