Well done to our year 1/2 footballers who travelled to Sandwich to take part in a football competition. The team played 5 group games, winning 3 and losing 2 and finished the group in 2nd place meaning they made it through to the 3rd/4th place play off. They played really well but lost this game finishing the competition in 4th place out of 12 schools.

Well done to our year 6 netball team who took part in a netball competition at Duke of York's Military School. The team had never played in a netball match before and had only had a few weeks of practice. The team worked very well together, and were successful in their efforts winning 6 out of 6 of the group games. This meant they progressed to the semi finals where they won 1-0 and progressed to the final. Unfortunately they were beaten in the final by River but were all so proud of their achievements and all loved playing netball for the first time. Congratulations!

Well done to our year 5/6 hockey team who took part in the Dover school games hockey competition at Goodwin Academy on Tuesday. The school entered two teams and were put into separate groups on the day. The A team won 4 games and drew 1 meaning they won the group and the B team won 4 and lost 1 meaning they came second in their group. This meant that they met in the semi finals. After 8 minutes the game was 1-1 and it went to penalties where the B team won 1-0 and progressed to the final. In the final they played a strong Wingham team and lost 4-1. Everyone at the school was very proud of their efforts and the  enthusiasm they showed during the competition. Well done.
