Fictional Characters Brought to Life For World Book Day
The whole school had great fun dressing up for World Book Day. There were some amazingly creative costumes and wonderful literary characters could be seen walking around the school all day! Well done everyone!
Year 3 recently had the fantastic opportunity to visit Wildwood animal park, near Canterbury. They learnt about skeletons in a workshop and then explored the park and met some interesting animals, including bears and bison! See their class pages for more photos!
Year 5 recently had a trip to Dover's amazing castle! This really helped them in their 'Defend & Fortify' topic. The explored the castle, identified its defensive element and even got to explore the dark, mediaeval tunnels!
