Bugs & Beasties

To start off our topic on Bugs and Beasties, we went around the school grounds on a bug hunt. We used magnifying glasses to search quieter, darker places to see if we could find any insects. We saw caterpillars, ants, beetles and worms!

Trip to Charlton Church

For music, we were invited to Charlton Church to watch some live music. It was the first time some of us have been in this Church, and certainly the first time of hearing live music. There was a lady playing the piano and another playing a Cello. We thought it was absolutely amazing and the ladies are very talented.

Writing

Look at some of our fantastic writing! We have been using the book ‘Beetle in the Bathroom’ to help us come up with ideas for our own characters and settings. We have worked really hard this year on our presentation, structure and handwriting, and we are sure you will agree, it’s amazing!
