Science – Making Feta and Courgette muffins

We had great fun making muffins with Miss Cowan this week. We looked at how solid and liquid ingredients mix and bake together. We discovered that you cannot separate them after they have been baked.  We have also completed some market research and created our own muffin cake box designs.

“How does the courgette not burn in the oven?”

“They look delicious!”

Science – Making Butter

In our science lessons we are exploring how different materials change. We look at how we could change double cream into butter by shaking it in a container.  We had great fun and even tried our butter on bread!

“Wow! How does it do that?”

“It takes really creamy but isn’t cream!”
