Lantern Making
On Friday we had a fantastic time making paper lanterns for the Dover Winter light-up parade, which will be on Saturday the 6th of December. First we used willow branches to make the star-shaped frames, then we added layers of white tissue paper with glue to complete the lanterns. We had great fun and we are looking forward to taking part in the parade.
Forest School
Haring class were blessed with beautiful weather for our forest school day and enjoyed learning and playing together in nature. The children used their senses whilst playing games to hunt each other. We collaborated to build dens; searched for a variety of wildlife in the forest school area and plotted a scale model of our solar system on the top field. We look forward to returning to the forest in the Winter!
