We have been practising our spellings using a rainbow effect. We spelt the words in one colour and then went over the spellings in lots of different colours to give a rainbow effect.
In art we have been learning about the artist Turner. We used watercolours to create pictures of us imagining we were looking out to sea in Margate. Don’t you think they look great!
In Maths we have been looking at the properties of some 2D shapes. We used art straws to make them and then described them.
In PSHE we have been discussing consent when playing with our friends. We discussed some scenarios and then decided what we thought we should do.
In music we listened to a piece of music and drew lines to show when we thought the music got louder and quieter. Here are our interpretations.
We have also been learning to play an instrument called an Ocarina. They are a bit like a whistle but with 4 holes which make different sounds.
In maths we have been looking at the commutative rule for addition. Using our knowledge of number bonds to 10, and Numicon, we found the commutative + number sentences.
